JARED THOMSEN
LEAD PASTOR / ELDER
Pastor Jared Thomsen was born and raised in Southern California, has been married to his wife Angela for 22 years, has two daughters - Reagan (20) and Delaney (18), and has been serving in Pastoral ministry for the past eighteen years. In May of 2014, after three years of God stirring his and Angela's heart and confirming to them that He was calling them to step out in faith and go start a new church in Walnut Creek, Jared and his family were sent out with the blessing of their home church (a Calvary Chapel fellowship in Lake Elsinore, CA) and moved to the East San Francisco Bay Area to plant Calvary Chapel Walnut Creek.
Jared is passionate about: seeing church done Biblically, keeping things simple and always keeping Jesus central, seeing the lost find salvation in Jesus, teaching and equipping God's people through God's word, seeing disciples of Jesus raised up for ministry and sent out for the furtherance of the kingdom of God, and ultimately seeing Jesus glorified and made known in Walnut Creek, throughout the Diablo Valley, the entire Bay Area, and around the world.
